What needed to be done

Northgate Legal required a complete office relocation across Manchester city centre within a 48-hour weekend window. The move included 120 workstations, a live server room, 40 years of confidential legal archives, and specialist legal furniture. The new premises required careful floor protection due to a recent fit-out, and the building had strict goods-lift access restrictions.

How we delivered it

A dedicated project manager was embedded with the client four weeks before the move. A phased plan was developed: Friday evening for IT infrastructure and server room (handled by Daley & Co's specialist IT relocation team), Saturday for furniture and general office equipment, Sunday for archive transfer and final placement. Floor protection was installed throughout both buildings. A dedicated goods-lift booking schedule was agreed with both building managers.

The Outcome
