What needed to be done

Salford Community Homes required the relocation of 48 households from a regeneration site over a 12-week programme. Tenants ranged from young families to elderly residents who had lived in their homes for over 30 years. Several tenants had mobility issues requiring additional support. The programme required careful scheduling to align with new tenancy start dates, and the housing association had strict budget constraints.

Our Approach

How we delivered it

Daley & Co assigned a dedicated programme coordinator who attended a tenant briefing event to introduce the team and answer questions. Each household received a personalised move plan with a fixed date and time. For elderly and vulnerable tenants, additional crew members were allocated and extra time built into the schedule. All packing materials were provided free of charge as part of the programme rate. A direct contact number was given to every tenant for queries.

The Outcome

The result

All 48 moves were completed within the 12-week programme window, with zero schedule overruns. Not a single formal complaint was received from any tenant. The programme was completed with no missed appointments across the tenant schedule. The programme came in 3% under the agreed budget. Salford Community Homes has since awarded Daley & Co a three-year framework agreement.
