Unlike self-storage, where you rent a room and manage access yourself, containerised storage means your items are professionally packed, handled, and protected throughout. Each container is sealed and only opened when you request delivery. This system offers superior security (no other customers have access to your container), better protection from dust and environmental factors, and professional handling at every stage. Containers are stored off the ground on racking systems to prevent any risk of water damage.
Short-Term and Long-Term Storage Options
We offer storage from a single week to several years, with no minimum commitment and no long-term contracts. Short-term storage is ideal for bridging gaps between property completions, accommodating renovation work, or holding items during a staged move. Long-term storage suits families relocating internationally who want to keep a base of belongings in the UK, or those downsizing who are not ready to part with certain items. Pricing is transparent and charged monthly — there are no hidden fees for access, administration, or insurance. If you need to retrieve specific items from storage, we can arrange partial deliveries by appointment. Our storage facility is clean, dry, alarmed, monitored by 24-hour CCTV, and fully insured.
Specialist Crating for Pianos, Antiques, and Fine Art
Our in-house crate-making workshop builds custom timber crates for items that require the highest level of protection. This includes grand pianos, antique furniture, marble sculptures, large framed artwork, and any item that is too valuable or fragile for standard packing methods. Each crate is built to the exact dimensions of the item, with internal supports, foam lining, and vibration-dampening materials. For fine art, we use conservation-grade materials that are pH-neutral and approved for contact with sensitive surfaces. Crating is available as a standalone service (for items being shipped, exhibited, or stored) or as part of a full removal. We also supply export-standard crates for international shipments that meet ISPM-15 heat treatment requirements.
